New Safe Haven law in Nebraska, what do you think?

Ok people i want to hear(read) your opinion on this topic.

I watched on the news recently that Nebraska has passed a new Safe Haven law which allows parents to abandon their children and government builds, of any age, from just born to 17.

I want to hear your opinions, i find this law is just sick, a parent shouldn't be allowed to just abandon their child because they dont want them anymore. No matter the reason a child shouldnt be thrown out like an object.
 
i think that this law is a good thing and a bad thing..
its bad because it makes parents who arent so bad just lazy and evil and gives them a way out
but its good for the parents who would eventually do something much worse then that to their kids
but in reality you could go to any orphanage and probably find a few kids that have parents out there who just dropped them off there.. it happens everywhere
 
Its disgusting...buts its the lesser of the evils They could kill them, abandon thm on the street or in the garbage can etc. It sucks no matter what, but at least its better than the other options
