New radio installed on car is rejecting CD's, is it bad installation?

ok so we bought a Dual DVD 7' touch screen radio its installed everything works fine EXCEPT that when we put a cd it rejects it back and the cd comes back damaged (scratched) what could be causing this problem? maybe bad installation or is it the radio ? because its the second radio in a row that does this we returned the 1st one we bought and got another one (same model) because of the same problem the cd is rejected ...so maybe we are doing something wrong what could it be guys?
 
It's possible that if the player was ISO-mounted (installed with side brackets attached to the units with screws) the side screws used may be too long. That's the only installation-related issue I can imagine that might cause the problem you're experiencing.

Sometimes these units come with screws to secure the transport mechanism. Make sure there aren't any screws mounted in the top or bottom that are supposed to be removed before installation. Usually such screws are pink or red in color.

Otherwise, you may just have had bad luck in getting two defective head units.
