new pvr acting up

my receiver keeps freezing on live tv. the image freezes but the audio keeps going, and when im pause the tv for a min, and then play it will play then stop and goes to live tv, its doing this when im recording too, it will record the whole program but it will stop and switches to live tv. does anyone know why this is happening. its been fine for the first 3 weeks now its acting up bad. i called bell but all they said was that there working on it and it has something to do with the hdmi cable, any one else having this problem.
 
I would suggest trying to hook it up using component cables instead of HDMI cables. I have mine set up with HDMI with no problems, but a lot of people are having this issue with HDMI. I would try this until the next revision of software is out.
 
"jump-to-live" and the HDMI issues are 2 completely different and unrelated (known) issues discussed in detail in the 9200 and 9242 owners threads.
