The only thing I've ever seen that I liked with Purple on it was a 1970 426 Hemi-Cuda.

Appreciate the pics ApehangerEd. Bike looks very nice - pipes, color, and all. Will do the Rinehart True duals with 4" mufflers with the chrome tips. On my silver CVO roadglide seems the chrome will look better that the black. I'll start saving now and it will be a great winter project. Ride safe.

I like purple, but it has to be the right shade of purple, on the darker side, a deep purple (da da daa, da-da da daa, da da daa, da-da). This 2011 purple/black color combo could cause me a world of hurt. I told myself that my last bike will be an Ultra of the last model year before they go water-cooled, which from what I can tell won't be 2012.
But if a local stealer puts an Ultra on the floor in purple/black (not an Ultra Limited, they have the colors switched on the fairing), and it is the right shade of purple and the bike looks good, I will be in trouble. Crap!

I don't mind purple. I don't mind black. I just don't like the 2 toned thing. Never have.
Like solid colors on bikes.
