New puppy whines all the time!?

My husband and i just adopted a 2 month old pitbull mix from the humane society. She was just spayed a couple days ago. e have a 1 yr old lab mix who plays with her constantly. They sleep inside at night because it's too cold outside but this pup whines ALL THE TIME. If we're not petting her when she wants, she whines. If she wants to lay on us and we're too busy to sit still, she whines. Even sometimes while we pet her and give her attention she whines. And being separated by a closed door? She YELPS as if she's dying until the door is opened. Last night she constantly cried because she couldn't get up onto the bed with us. We didn't let her sleep up there with us because she won't be able to jump down by herself and she'll cry more plus use the bathroom on the bed. i don't recall any of my former dogs crying as much as she does when they were pups, how do i get her to stop? The main problem is i try to keep the dogs in one room and play with my one year old son in another because they play rough and my son get's caught in the middle plus the puppy snarls when she plays and it scares my baby. But when i close the door the puppy scratches at the door and cries and yelps as if she is dying and scares my son even more! What is the solution to this? i try to ignore her when she cries so she knows it won't get her attention but it scares my son so i can't ignore it anymore. i'd also like to sleep peacefully without her wanting to get on the bed. How do we do this?
