New PRLs

Since the lastest PRL (30053) I can no longer get EVDO on VZW, just 1X while roaming. Whatever the last PRL was working fine.
 
I checked it out, there isnt a 41004. All Ev capable devices will receive 31xxx series beginning with 31004 the difference is now devices can only roam on another carriers EVDO while they are roaming on their 1x.




31004 Would be a good choice for you to manually load. 31004 is still freaks my v3c and e815 out.
 
I've 30053, an Alltel plan on Verizon based in Greenville SC, am "roaming" on Verizon in Lancaster PA (SID 96, NID 25) and have RevA EVDO fine. Give us some more details ... SID where you are not getting EVDO especially. I drove up 85-77-81-581 on Wednesday and had few areas with 1X only.
 
I've those in Greenville as well on my Touch and my wife's V3a.

I wonder where revrdr800X is (both from a posting and geography standpoint) and why we have no details on where RevA or plain EVDO don't work for him with 30053.
 
I am in Cadillac using 30054 and still 1x on VZW. Been getting a ton of dropped calls lately too but I just loaded the 30054 this morning. We'll see how it goes.
 
Oh ... in one of the areas where Alltel will become Verizon and present Verizon will be sold. I don't envy you. In any event, I can see no GOOD reason you would get poor service. What I'd GUESS is that 30053 and 30054 have Verizon preferred over Alltel and your location has or had a good Alltel signal and a poor Verizon signal.

I've not been involved in that situation. I wonder if you are close to an area Alltel store and if they can help?
