New PRLs

I dont know how new these really are...
30050 and 20047. These are non divested (Verizon)

Both move the flashing roam indicator to off on preferred sids. 20047 removes analog from the acquisition table and virtually all Sprint sids are removed from both.

I've updated my site to include 30050 as the current non-divested PRL. Thanks shango!

I still need all the ones in between 30043 and 30050, if anyone has them. Corolada doesn't have them either, so it'd be appreciated if anyone who has them can forward them on to both myself and A42887.

Thanks for hosting them! Is this the first one that removes the flashing triangle?
I kinda lost track of them, seems to be a new one every few weeks.

OK... thanks to a couple of regulars here, I've filled in the missing PRLs. I now have what I believe to be a complete archive of Alltel 3xxxx and 4xxxx PRLs (for the last couple of years, anyway) on my site:

Hopefully you all find them useful, especially if you get pushed a new PRL not to your liking and need to roll back to one that worked better for you.

i for one would like to say thank you to answerman for taking his time to provide this service for us. i have found it useful a time or two as i'm sure others have.

Very useful indeed. I lost EVDO on my V3C when the consolidation happened here in Springfield, MO ( SID 546 ). I've tried several others including 40055. They gave me EVDO locally, but when I roam it tends to go back to 1xRTT, even in Verizon territory. I just went to Tulsa and found myself getting 1x.
I did a @228 option 2 and got another useless PRL. Still 1x.

I've now gone back to 30036 which was the last Alltel PRL that worked right for me.

The V3C and E815 have issues with some of the new prls. Took me some time to figure this out but its some kind of internal software issue in those two phones. IE, using 31003 my Q has perfect EV, in my V3C the phone wiggs out, EV on and off, shorter battery life and no service issues.

Interesting... I'm still have my e815... I used to have EV on my phone in my area... not any more... since alltel switch to verizon... so, my phone goes between EV and D... until I go to a bigger city like columbus area, then the EV stays on.

would anyone know what to fix?? I tried loading one of the smartphone's prl months ago and it crashed my phone!!! I haven't tried since... but tempting though... :hehehe:

Load one of the old prls. Go to the answerman site and get on of the ones dated back behind the date you started having the problem and load it in. I know the problem well, the main issues is it kills the battery fast. You can also go into test mode and just shut evdo off too.
