I doubt that they will automatically switch u over without asking you first. So u may have to just ask them to do it. I think u will have to pay a upgrading fee but Im not sure.

There are new plans coming for cricket. The first is scheduled to be available tomorrow. This may be slightly off because i have not received any written confirmation.

$50 MRC - Launces 11/1/06
everything included in $45 MRC
+WAP
+cricket national extended calling area (use your phone unlimited in all cricket markets

Also supossedly 3-way calling is returning, but I don't know know if this is coming tomorrow or later.

The other plan (that I know of) will be launched at a later date. I do not know the date, or even if there is a date yet.

$60 MRC
everything included in $50 MRC

If I find out anything more I'll keep you guys posted. Cheers

I think travel time is like roaming, where you use other providers towers and bandwidth. That way you can call even outside of CricKet's markets.

OK, great! So as long as we're on the Cricket network we can talk outside our home market? Now I can finally ditch T-Mobile! :clapping:

I just switched over to the *new* $50 monthly plan tonight from the $45 dollar plan and my total fees are just under $57/month with taxes. I got the extended Cricket calling area across the US, 3-way calling, unlimited MMS and unlimited 'net access. I just have to get a 'net and MMS-capable phone now. :)

I removed my Travel Time and curious to see if I have coverage in some areas not on the Cricket map in NC (specifically, the Raleigh/Durham area).

This is a great offer, as I've been waiting for Cricket to open up other Cricket markets for unlimited calling use.

Cricket, give these other suckers (Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, etc) a run for their money!

Does anyone use the Cricket Service in Kansas City and or Missouri? I asking because I was thinking of getting a razor phone with them. And I love their plans because I am a huge texter so its a big one for me.

Now prior to my previous question I have some more questions. Ok, With the Razor phone from cricket is everything in the phone that is suppose to be? If not wat did they take out?

I live in Kansas City Kansas and I travel to Kansas city missour and Independence missouri alot. Do any of u know if I will have service there? Even if I bought my phone in KCK?

If I can get great reception Everywhere in Kansas City and Missouri then Ill be fine with getting the phone with cricket wireless. IF not then I will be forced to go with sprint. So plz guys help me out. THANKS so much in advance. :)

damm crickets the shiiiiiiiiiiit now! i love it haha
the extended calling area works greaaat in az! i got full bars in phoenix all over the damm place lol and im from tucson*~

Yep, I enjoy the awsome coverage in Phoenix every day, and it only gets better. I can't remeraber the last time I dropped a call. cricKet is gonna kick some a** now with these new plans. :cell:

you could just go to mycricket.com and look at the coverage map. Or even visit a store. Someone local will have more info than most of us.

So as it is now (with my $45 plan) I can't use my phone in another Cricket market even if I have their coverage and I'm not roaming?

Oh yea speaking of, I just noticed they added the 50 dollar a month plan. And the only new thing added that I see is the Extended national coverage or something like that. It sound very very good but I dont know exactly wat they mean by that. I looked for a "Extended national Coverage" map but I couldnt seem to find one so Im clueless on that.
