New Pixar 'Up' Trailer

The talk about this film is very positive. The first half of the film has been screened at a few conventions in the US. It shouldn't take to much rummaging around the net to find a mini-review.

I'm really looking forward to this. It seems suitably mental.
To be honest I feel going to see a Pixar film is great value so I would've been going anyway!

PS. can't wait to see the short either. Some info on it came out today on a couple of blogs.

Never miss any Pixar movie, and won't start it with this one, especially after watching the trailer.

Yeah, can't wait for the short. Disney/Pixar always have the funniest short I've ever seen.

I remember years ago when the US would get films 6 months before us in the UK now with the internet its different. Disney must be the only movie company to still have big gaps between international release dates. Last year it was the same with Wall E and the 2nd Narnia film.

Anyway the trailer looks ace everytime I question pixar they prove me wrong. Up is gonna be great

I think that's true but gaps are still there. If you look at all the Oscar noms this year, things like The Reader, Milk, The Wrestler, Slumdog etc had all only been out (or not out yet) for a few weeks before the Oscars were on. The US had them all a good few months before we did.

I think Gran Torino came out 3 or 4 months in the US before it did in the UK.

It often seems as though they come out close to the US release because that is becoming the general practise of the big blockbusters that are high demand.

I wish Up and Princess and the Frog would come out here a little earlier, or closer to the US release. It's so hard and tempting to look up a review or get involved in a discussion. But you can't without being spoiled.
Arrgh!!

Princess and the Frog has been now moved up from Christmas Day to December 11 in the States, but I doubt that will affect its date over here.
