hi,

i have a samsung e105 with t-mobile whose display died out.

i am looking to switch to cingular (and their 2-year contracts!) so as to get a good offer on phones from sites such as intelenetwireless.com or letstalk.com or amazon. i could even continue with t-mobile and just obtain a new number if i need to, if it comes to that.

if anyone can recommend phones and/or websites that offer a good deal on such phones (w/ new plans), i would be grateful!

the following are what i deem useful in a phone:
0. reliable, no call dropping, not flimsy (it should last the 2 years of cingular's contract!)
1. light, small, sleek (maybe less than 4.5oz, and slightly larger than the samsung *105 series)
2. some kind of calendar/appointment app that can sync up entries with a PC or a Mac through a USB/data cable/bluetooth/IrDA.
3. free software that does a good job of #2 (such as EasyGPRS from Samsung, it neednt be MS Outlook)
4. USB/data cable included with phone (i can afford just a bluetooth/IrDA adapter)

i wouldnt mind having:
1. flip (as compared to bar/slide, since i hate the unlock/screensaver features)

i dont need my phone to have:
1. any kind of camera
2. mp3/video player
3. ringtones/wallpaper/other jazz
4. install software (mathematica/itunes/mp3ripper/yahoo msngr/whatever)

i looked up the following phones, but not sure if they have the features i want:
1. motorola v3 razor, this seems to be quite popular and sturdy, but i am not sure if motorola has calendar features that i can sync via bluetooth
2. motorola mpx220, it has windows mobile on it, but i have heard its slow and ******
