new phone preview

Getting this phone tomorrow.
Nokia 1606 should be coming sometime next week we shall see how customers react to this hanRABets, the nokia should move i would imagine.
Please no more Kyoceras phones Lol

@Cricket: This pricepoint should not exist anymore singce the introduction of economy hanRABets. Unless you are going to put a camera phone at $129.99 just forget it!!
 
I thought it had bluetooth :( , and no camera neither man nvm i was under the impression it had both !!! i dont think the jetset is gonna move much anytime soon since theres like 4 phone models in the same price range.
R500 is gonna be discontinued soon i would imagine, i wonder if theres gonna be any specials on this phone anytime soon..
 
wel that was not directed at you in case there was any confusion. the jetset is the sae feature set as the rokr at $50 less in a flip form factor. 2 MP camera, video capture (only tri-band with video capture so far), MP3, stereo bluetooth with object exchange, the only phones at the same price point is the r500 (to be discontinued soon) and the messager (totally different phone, no video 1.3 MP camera).

so when the dust settles the $199 price point will be the messager and the jetset. there will be no phones more expensive or better before the end of the year (to my knowledge). both are distinctive and have their target audience, so both should be successful.
 
the nokia on the other hand has no place in a lineup that consists of less than 10 phones. there are better (feature wise) phones priced below it and brand recognition has no place in such a small lineup.
