Well the HP would be a good choice since it has GPS built in. Never used it though it looks nice.

the HP isn't bad but with GPS turned on it's a battery hog. You'd have to invest in somesort of alternate power source

Have you considered the Palm Treo 650? You can get BT GPS bundles for around $250 from various mapping vendors.
No, but the hw67xx due out later this year though is suppose to have WM5. HP hasn't said anything about upgrading the Microsoft? Windows Mobile? 2003 software - Phone Edition OS on the hw65xx to WM5 or support it.
That is no joke about the battery life. Even just normal use drains it pretty quick. Larger capacity battery (1800mAh) and external power source (charger) is needed.
