Thanks man. I don't think it's quite done yet. There are 2 different reds (OEM Ducati + HoK). It's driving me bananas lol!

Also, think I'll get rid of the 'thank you' on the tail and make it red. Also the logo on the tank was supposed to have been the old style like the fairing. Also it's bubbling on the tank (minor issue lol).

I have the TTX/RT setup coming from motowheels, and the front tubes are anodized red, bottom black; TTX spring also red; so I want to get more red on the bike and fix the problems I have (bubbling and hue differences).

I am a very visual person, but I also don't like garbage. I fought hard to make a 'nice' bike even if I will never realize it's full potential.

But I must say, after about 15 years not riding, and this being my first ride since then, I started getting antsy at the end of the year. Sunday it was cold (9C or so) but I still wanted to nail it. I wheelied like 2 feet lol. Yes, I auck.

I think you have taken the paint scheme for Ducati's to a new level, maybe that's why I have trouble deciding whether I like it or not. It's an amazing job, expert craftsmanship.

No, still working on the rear end a bit. I got the motowheels subframe and I've been dremeling all the welds and am going to polish it lightly. But I'm worried after one of my posts that grinding the welds may have a serious affect, so I'm quiestioning myself here. I know I've done this to Harleys in the past with no problem, but I don't want to throw wisdom from others away, either. The welds are gone (I got rid of the blobs but didn't cut into the weld deeper than that anywhere), so it's a question now of whether I should finish the job and install it on the bike or not...

The front end/lights will be quite a job, really need to focus on it before I start. Expensive mistake if not focused

Here's what I'm hoping she will look like next year (photoshop). I added the suspension I bought plus played with the paint since it's not quite right yet:

beautiful work..very partial to the green lol. lots of love went into that beauty.

now, make sure it doesn't get stolen

Sunk my whole life into her, and have nothing left...so I hope not lol!

I eat KD to buy carbon. And I'm 40...not like I'm a young-ass with parents. This bike is my whole soul.

edit: and yeah, Kawi green is awesome. My boss's brother was the fastest man in Canada, on a Kawi, that's what got me started. Plus, for my bike, it's my mom's favourite colour...

I miss the days when she was pure red, but after all I did, I had to let my personality come through...there are much better bikes here, performance-wise...but I tried...she's light and fast, and with a real rider would prob'ly kick ass...

money is nothing aslong as ur happy

KD is tasty in my opinion. What kind of insurance do you have btw? would they pay for all the mods should the unthinkable happen?
