New Only Fools and Horses DVD

The link gives no info at all on the new release.
I would like to see a link regarding changes to music laws - of which I don't believe anything has changed , otherwise Eureka would not have to be jumping hoops to sort out Just Good FrienRAB

The Itunes release should be the same as the dvd .
If music is included that is mssing from the dvd that may be down to the low quality downloaRAB being classed differently to dvd 's - much as tv broadcasts are.
 
The music rights is the main reason why "Shoestring" has never been released on dvd.It was due to be released back in 2005 but was abandoned due to the high cost of music rights licensing (the series being set at a radio station).
 
I cant find a link which details the law. I am getting the DVD on Tuesday so we will soon know if its any different. Looks as if there doing the same with One Foot in the Grave. I am starting to think that its just new packing.
 
It's still a laugh track, whether genuine or not. And it's a damn distracting one- as the episode wasn't even intended to have one, they didn't use the usual gaps after jokes, so it just goes over and drowns out dialogue all the way through. I don't know why anyone thought it was a good idea.
 
I never bought the Only Fools DVD's because they where too basis, no extras and subtitles and sometimes you need the subtitles when you don;t quite catch what they say or they say it too fast.

Especially that time when Rodney said he couldn't wait to apply for his next passport. Mentions his mothers name and then I couldn't make out what he said on the father, but the crowd loved it!

I think they didn;t quite catch it either, but it was his delivery, sounded funny anyway etc.

Epiosde was the Xmas special of 83 I think, when their git dad comes back.

When there's a big anniversary of some kind I'm sure they'll make an effort and release a proper boxset with plenty of extras, maybe spending a bit of money to sort the episodes out (re-master the picture, get some of the original music back etc.).
