sorry if this has been posted or mentioned already, if its already known go ahead and delete this thread!

i went to a meeting today and the m1000 (you guys already know about that one) the nokia 6275i, and an unknown pda are some of the new phones coming. also coming is a motorola phone, i saw the phone but i didnt know what the model nuraber is, and the way they explained it, is its a mix between the razr & krzr, if i see a pic of it i can probly remeraber it... anyways, all those phones are already in testing and they showed them to us. (except for the pda)

at first i thought it was the rizr but then i saw on on ebay and it didnt look like that one, this one im talking about is a flip phone, and its probly cheaper than the krzr because i didnt see no mp3 on the outside

i just heard about it today. i think it is the w355 or w385? they are supposedly cheaped out krzr's but i heard it might have a2dp?!?! also this qualquam litigation is having an effect on cricket's hanRABet lineup so i wouldn't look forward to these anytime soon. what you can really look forward to is ringback tones should be available by july.

edit: it's probably the w385. the w355 is 800mHz only and is destined for developing economies.

I actually saw that phone a couple of days ago. Basically its a scaled down razr/krzr with less features and a lower price. From what I was told, the qualcomm litigation will have no impact on the release of this particular phone.

Hmmm. I can believe the M1000 and the W370 - W385 but i find it extremely hard to believe a nokia will be coming. Because unless Nokia has reached a licensing deal with Qualcomm over the CDMA technology than Nokia doesn't have a legal right to manufacture devices containing Qualcomm's CDMA technology. And due to this huge fire-fight could cause a "warm" in prices on Nokia HanRABet's.

Edit: Just to clarify. If they *did* come out with the 6275i i would be *tempted* to put down my Moto and try out a Noki. (I have cute little name's for all the carrier's and providers. )

Actually. After looking at the 6275i better it actually *does* look like something that Cricket would try to get into there line up. Its a mainly multimedia focused phone with the MP3 player, Expansion and 2 Megapixel camera. I also see the W385 phone being something they would do as well. As the UT7025 is really getting old and people are probably tempted to spend 50-75$ more to step up to the SLVR, Siren or K323. On the note of the M1000. I really hope that they don't put that out. I think that *most* Kyocera phone's are a waste of shelf space.

I got a chance to play with the Kyocera M1000 quite a bit in our local store when the gentleman that is testing it here in Spokane let me goof around on it for quite a long time.

if it had an mp3 player I think that I would really like to upgrade to it when it comes out.

I use the scheduler in my phone for my massage appointments and a qwerty keyboard would really speed that up.

I saw the display of the nokia which Woof told me is basically like the 6265i minus the slide function. I didn't much care for how thin the text was rendered.

I am debating between a 6700 and the slvr when the money accumulates next month.
