i wanted to get mine upgraded and i thought its free
if its under warrenty

I tried just now, nothing =/ I have the fw on my computer (got it "elsewhere"), along with the software to flash it in. I'll still wait a while tho, doing it myself seems pretty risky.

Yeah but thats been present since v.11(dont know with 10 since its 11 when I got my phone). There is no difference in v. 20.

No Nokia Service Centres don't charge, the people who charge are not Nokia approved centres they are 3rd party solution providers. I will just wait and do it at home for free as its not really broken it's just i know it's about to get better so obviously want it now.

I just wish Nokia would stop announcing it until it is actually released as last time it took over a month and to be honest i am expecting the same this time. Well you never know i may get a pleasant surprise and it will be quicker but some how i doubt it cynical me.

Well i apparantly found the firmware and im downloading it right now. im going to try and update with phoenix and then see what happens. of course ill have pics and impressions if it works.

it was a success. first thing that i noticed off the bat was there is a wifi scanner app on the active standby screen now. havent played with it at all but will post impressions after i do.

Weird I have the US version firmware and I do not have that new "internet" folder.

Also, Mark Mackarus can you please tell me how your phone functions with a wired headset? Mine with the US firmware gives me the voice dial beep and then "forgets" to dial. Then when I try to get the voice command beep again it does not happen. To make things worse, when I try to dial using the keypad the green "send" button is disabled. Only a restart fixes this problem. It is a major bug IMHO, and probably the most annoying I have seen in any product as it renders a basic function useless. Perhaps your Euro firmware does not feature this issue.
