Hi shafsla,
Firstly which country are you in? is your phone Network branded? as these 2 points can make a lot of diffrence.

Also i did say when this new update was announced i hoped it wouldn't take a month again guess i was wrong. I wish i could use phonix but as i only have XP home can't and as i use PC suite all the time the process of useing it is just too messy to be worth while. Since the first upgarde and even before i have had no crashes or freezes. The pictures and video i have taken has been good enough for my needs but obviously improvements are welcome. I love the web browser either over 3g or WiFi. E mail works perfectly, Movies and videos in landscape mode is stunning if encoded correctly. The music player useing the AD46 with a set of Sony headphones is also of a good quality. QuickOffice and the PDF viewer are easy to navigate with the D pad.

The promise of a faster boot time plus the other editions are all good and show Nokia are not finsihed yet with tweaking and smartphones. The only additional apps i have added are Tom Tom 6, Handy Taskman, Handy Safe and the Dark Theme. The one addition i would lke to see is A2DP added to the bluetooth profiles. This is my third Nokia since June and 2S60 3rd Edition is definatly my preffered OS no phone is perfect but this comes pretty close for me. I am not interested in the N95 as i have my own GPS a Holux unit and need for the extra pixels and am not a fan of sliders. I like the form factor of my N93 and it spends 95% in laptop made the keys are large nad tactile and even with it in laptop mode i can still enter data quickly. I am i a N93 fan definatley big time i would n't swap it for any other wel not yet anyway.

Hi, I don't think I ever said that the previous firmware didn't help. I actaully found the extra RAM really good
it gives me more the ability to multi-task that was not possible on the N80.
But still I get apps closing by themselves, as I heavily multi-task: with the web browser, podcasting app, mimm live messenger and music player all at the same time. Works. But sometimes some of them close up.

I think they should add FOTA to N93 to make update as safe as possible.

hi i need advice because my pc usb connection decided to disconnect when i was updating my firmware and now my phone won't turn on. i didn't unplug it the usb just decided to disconnect. any advice would be appriciated!

is that noise reduction means better picture quality??
whats that zip manager??

wish they made it possible take pics with main camera
and the screen facing self
dunno why they dont have that
even though i rarely take photos of myself
it would be useful

I was wondering how the new firmware reduced the optical zoom noise because I could not hear it anymore in my videos. Finally figured out how they did it. When you are recording video, and you zoom in, the recording volume automatically decreases.

SO.... if you are filming someone talking in front of you and you zoom in, you won't hear the optical zoom, BUT the volume of the person talking also goes down.

Nice trick Nokia!
