Hi Erfan ~ OUCH! I would say you know what pain feels like, that's for sure. If you don't mind me asking, how did you injure your back?

I also have severe back problems, which have over time turned into chronic pain.

I would recommend that you post your MRI results over on the back problems board, you may get more replies from people going through what you are.

I wish you all the best!

Are you currently under the care of a doctor? I would assume so, b/c a doctor had to order your MRI. What does your doctor recommend? Are you in pain?

You've got to be kidding, right? With as much damage as your MRI shows? Is this something that happened recently?

For me, I know what set my DDD (degenerative disc disease) off, along with the boatload of back problems that have cropped up since...it was pregnancy.

It looks like your thread has already been transferred to the back problems board...that's good. I think you'll like the back board. There are some GREAT people here that are very knowledgeable b/c they've been dealing with their own back problems for years. I'm sure someone will be able to make sense of your MRI.

I do still have one question. Are you in pain, or are you on pain meRAB so you wouldn't know if you are or not? I hope you're already on pain meRAB.

Take care!

SounRAB to me like you have stenosis which is often caused by degenerative changes that develop as one ages. Why did you have the MRI? What has your doctor recommended? I gather you must have some pain caused by nerves being constricted by the stenosis.

Actually, I am in severe pain constantly. I wear a 100 mcg Fentanyl patch that I change every 3 dyas, and I take 30 mg Roxicodone every 6 hours as needed which is usually most of the time.

I've been on this regiment for about 4 years with no increase and the pain is becoming more and more crippling.
