Hello everybody,

I'm new but not new to owning motorcycles. My current rides are a 95 916 and an 04 999S. I'm currently recovering from injuries since late 05 when I totalled my 600RR. Glad to be posting, here is a couple shots of my 916, I'll have some soon of my 999S. I just bought it and liking it more and more, the bike just grows on you. Very underrated and cool bike.

I'm President of the local Sacramento Ducati Owners Group (DOG). Are main emphasis is getting together to hang out and organize some rides, organize two private track days a year and promote club racing. We are a bunch of nice guys that love our bikes.

Fast forward. I no longer have the 916 or the 999S. I decided to get involved in sport touring so I traded the 916 for an 07 1100S Multistrada and sold the 999S outright. I couldn't stand it being with just one bike and I still desired having a superbike, so I started looking. Since I've always wanted a 999R, that was my focus and I struck gold luckily when I found one in LA. I've had it for a couple months and have done the following to it since it was a stock bike to begin with. One thing that is nice about the 999R, it doesn't require much unlike the 916 where I put in over $11K in mods. So far on the 999R I've added the following: carbon fiber hugger/chain guard, exhaust cover, silencer cover, sprocket cover, clutch cover (slotted) and keyless racing fuel cap. STM red fork adjusters, titanium bolts here and there, Vortex 38 tooth sprocket, DP billet rear sets. New B0016s. Last but not the least, I found a pair of magnesium valve covers through BCM. This is a slick upgrade that updates the bike to what came standard on the 05 999R.

I did a few things to the Multi: Pazzo levers, cf rear hugger, powerlet socket and reostat for heated gear, Bangfab rear mount with top box, D&D touring pegs, DP rear seat cowl, new B0016s, on order MRA Vario windscreen.
