New Matt & Trey Interview on 200th South Park episode

Sounds very similar to the Seinfeld series finale, where they had the entire supporting cast plus guest stars return to sue the core group for doing absolutely nothing. I hope that somehow gets referenced.

I like how they acknowledge the Family Guy feud is practically non-existent. Seems like another false entity whipped up by rabid fans to fuel a fire.

I liked how they mentioned the feud does not exist as Family Guy has not been hindered in their money making due to South Park's episode. And to add on, Family Guy has not even acknoledged them, as they haven't changed from the basic formula of the episodes, that is, according to the interview. If anyone sees otherwise, please point it out.

I would argue that the "Hitler riding an unicycle" cutaway in one episode, with Peter coming back later to kick him off and saying to the audience that was always planned, was a reaction to South Park's criticism's, but that's me.

Nah it was recent. The random Hitler clip was played after Cleveland commented on how Scrubs cuts away from the plot for "some bullcrap". Peter later cuts back to it and knocks him over.

Oh, I am thinking of the earlier clip, where he is in the gym, and the girls are around the buff Jewish man. The unicycle one could be seen as a response, as it did "somehow" (can someone refresh my memory) come back to relate to the plot.

NVM, it just came back to relate to another cut away gag.

Wow, I don't even think they did something big for the 100th. The "War and Peace" episode does not really seem so special. The reenactment of the 1st episodes does not count as the 100th.

Oh, and on the topic, will we get another send off like the last 100th episode, with all the characters noting the achievement except the boys.

People I expect to see - Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, R. Kelly, P. Diddy...

Why hasn't Darth Chef returned at all? The Darth Chef episode kind of seemed to be setting Chef up as a recurring villain that might appear from time to time.

Was it out of respect for Hayes after his death? Trey & Matt seem to feel slightly apologetic to Hayes in this interview.

It's funny to me that the series is just approaching its 200th episode 14 seasons in, It's a good thing because the series doesn't feel as stale.

That is the way SP is, recurring characters are never recurring, unless it is Butters.

And yes, I think they felt sorry for Hayes as he passed a few years after he quit the show. In fact, an episode was dedicated to him, showing their respect. I do not think they will dishonor Hayes, who was once their friend, in an episode. They will however, target many others, as they stated.
