So watching ep 5 I'm wondering why Klan Klan was even micronized in the previous episode if they have facilities for full-size Zentraedi's...
Which brings up another question, you talk about giant cows as being good for providing more meat/milk, but then you also need more resources to feed them so it's probably a wash. I wonder how exactly is it resource-viable to allow Zentraedi's to stay in their giant form? You need a lot more food to feed a full-size Zentraedi, you need a lot more space to house them, and look at those panties.
How many regular human-size panties could you get out of that pair? 50? 100? c'mon.
That all being said I loved the look of the mall, I wonder if they have specifically designated walkways for humans so the Zentraedi don't accidentily step on them? I was trying to tell. Obviously a full-size Zentraedi couldn't get on that regular size escalator, but I was wondering about stores. It looked like the store that Alto & Sheryl found the panties in was human size, but had giant size Zentraedi items in it for some reason. Maybe a micronized Zentraedi would come in and order stuff to then be delivered?
I think the series will have more of these non-space battle type episodes in order to allow the animators working on the space battles to have time to actually get that stuff done.
I thought the way the whole band came together for Ranka was pretty funny, I could have understood the guitar guy, but all of a sudden you had a Boraber-esque backup group complete with drummer and keyboardist
Megumi Nakajima's engrish in the song wasn't all that bad, I've definitely heard much worse and it's somewhat surprising to hear a very young VA in her first roll carrying that off as well as she did. I'm going to chalk it up to Yoko Kanno because I think if you look at all the past projects she's involved in with various singers or VA's performing a song with english lyrics I think she must work with them a lot to try and get it as good as possible for each singer.
It's interesting that Megumi is in a very similar situation to Maaya Sakamoto in that when Maaya debuted in Escaflowne she worked with Yoko Kanno very closely and have collaborated off and on ever since (probably why Maaya is singing the ending theme).
