Whos got it already?? Anyone hear all of it yet. I love LP and hope they tour again with the release new album so I can try and catch a show, heard they were awsome live!!
 
Personally, I don't like it.
They've dropped their screaming and hardcore/trip-hop influences and replaced it with an attempt at being "scene".
I'm quite disappointed, to be honest.
 
its different from their previous stuff thats for sure. lot more slow songs on it. I like it but i wish that it wasnt so short, thats the problem that i had with their last CD too
 
watched the new clip today, on their blog i kinda liked it. it was awesome n nice to know that they've grown up aswell.

anyone know why they named it minutes to midnight?
 
so far What I've Done, Given Up, and No More Sorrow are my favorite tracks. The album itself is pretty weak. I wish they would have stayed with their original style.
 
i see, all beacuse of north korea huh.

they're doing some intense promotional stuff. like sending out ciphers for us to crack n we can win stuff. have they done this sort of stuff before?
 
Weaksauce. There are about 4 or 5 tracks I like. Considering I like every single track on every single CD in the past, that's not a good sign. Word on the street is Han doesn't have very much influence on this CD. Sad, oh well guess we'll wait another two years or 3 years for the next CD.

I'm a very picky person when it comes to music, but I loved the first 3 LP CD's.

I was a major fan of Hybrid Theory - One of the best CD's I have ever listened to. Then there was Meteora which I was a huge fan of. Then Reanimation, these 3 CD's have defined music for me since I started listening to them, about 9 Months ago.

They are a stand out band in my mind. The only problem I forsee with this New CD Minutes to Midnight is that it is a weak CD compared to their previous music. It has too many emotional tracks (emo tracks) It is not their form of music, but a few of their emo tracks work really well. They still are LP. I will be going to their concerts and supporting them. They are and will always be Linkin' Park to me. No matter how emo their music is they have my support.

its a weird way of promoting an album, but apparently we can meet Linkin Park. they're releasing ciphers over the internet, 17 of them, we gotta find it out and crack the code and the first person to do it WINS. its not hard finding them, just gotta follow the blog i guess. found more info from another site
