New Knight Rider movie is on its way woo

Just heard on a Los Angeles radio station that David Hasselhoff has just split with his long time wife and is currently in Australia. But they mentioned filming on a new Knight Rider movie will begin very soon. This is great news i cant wait till they bring K.I.T.T. back :D and Micheal Knight woo. Need to find official notice but should appear on some movie sites or entertainment sites soon enough

have been waiting for the Knight Rider movie forever it certainly feels like that.

It Does at last seem probable that it actually could happen.

Is the plan really to have Karr in the Movie? you see in the cast listing Karr engineer in my link above.

I also notice it don't mention who is going to voice Kitt it was of course William Daniels in the Series but oddly enough he was never credited for it then so it's possible he could still be the voice.


We have had a Dukes of Hazzard film and Starsky and hutch I think a Knight Rider film is long long overdue lets hope for some official word soon,
 
It has been a very long time comming, i hope Karr is going to be in the film too but not sure, omg imagine if they bring in 'Golith' too :| gona be amazing. I cant wait too see if they change the design of K.I.T.T. when the KnightRider2000 movie was made i didnt really like the red car i much prefered the Black firebird so i hope they keep that design for the new movie. Ah well shouldnt be to long now before we get some official news ah im so excited !

Myself I hope they just forget the whole Knight Rider 2000 ever happened it was an awful film.

I have heard all sorts of things over recent moths including using the original Kitt which is destroyed and then completely rebuilt.

well that idea would be quite a good one.
Bring Karr back but if it's happening can't wait to find out.
 
i soo want to see the knight rider movie can't wait till its out.

the only reason why knight rider worked is beacuse of the great David Hasselhoff and the lovely car and also Kitt.
 
As much as I would like to flat out disagree with you, you are probably right.

It's really annoying keep hearing about a film and then all goes quite.

But being on the optimistic side if it does happen Rumour has it will start filming in Summer.

I find this a bit worrying in that they are going for a December Release Obviously that would be a US release, but either was 6 months or less isn't much time to get a film put together is it.

If this happens anRAB I really hope I does I hope they don't mess it up by rushing filming to hurry a release date along.

After many years of waiting that would be very disappointing
 
SounRAB like David Hasselhoff is thinking along the right lines. They need to concentrate on what made the original show a hit (instead of just trying to be hip and original).

I would say what made the series so great was 3 things:

1) Ultra-hi-tech gadgetry (in its day it was way ahead of its time)
2) Car stunts and chases
3) FrienRABhip between Michael and K.I.T.T.
4) Michael's strength of character, righteousness and determination
5) The warm feeling of family you got from FLAG (Devon & Bonnie)
6) Contrasted with the feeling of independence from fighting the enemy alone, armed only with your car
7) Good, interesting stories (on the whole)

I think whatever the plot was, it would have to accommodate all these things (IMHO).

That cast list is exciting! I wonder where William Daniels is on it though?
 
Maybe a series after a movie?

They made a new series alone it would be something probaly equaly as bad as Team Knight Rider.

Which was so painfull I never watched an episode in full
