Peter Jackson was quoted a while back in fab mag SFX as saying that King Kong was his pet project and has been for over a decade. No studio would touch him. I reckon that he shouldn't have too much trouble getting it off the ground now...

I can't wait for a WETA-produced KK. It'll put The Hulk to shame.
