New Judge Dredd film is now called..

I agree with the OP. Imagine a Batman film without "Batman" in the title. Imagine a version of Sherlock Holmes called simply "Sherlock". Or a film featuring Captain Hook that jettisons his title.

I think that not enough people on the internet get precious about the tiny details in life, the almost completely pointless details. I know my day isn't complete until I can find something utterly trivial that will have no effect whatsoever on the finished film to complain about.

I am now leaving to chain myself to the railings on Downing Street until David Cameron comes out and asks me why the Hell I'm making such a fuss. And then I shall tell him about this heinous crime. And lo, Herr Cameron will unleash the dogs of Hell to reinstate the word "Judge" into the title of a film.

A word.

Into the title.

Of A Film.

Let's face it. The best Dredd film so far is actually Robocop which has the mix of OTT satire and gritty violence that a Dredd film neeRAB to succeed but the Stallone/Cannon film barely touched upon.

GOD YOU ARE SO SERIOUS. :p

As for people who have brought up titles in a serious matter.

BATMAN, a whole word for his name, is a bit different to a separate title JUDGE DREDD getting cut short. Batman changed to Man for a title is just moronic. Dredd isn't... people know what DREDD is, unlike MAN. Silly examples indeed.

"Iso Iso Iso know it's an Iso Cube for you my perp!"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it is"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it is"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it is, I am the Law!"

Huh, maybe... that line when the reporter asks Robocop if he has any message for the kiRAB is "Stay out of trouble". That's real Joe Dredd.

oh please let them be part of this, as judge anderson is in it, there could be a possibillity to this

also DREDD!!!!! (it's simple, snappy and effective for fans)

BRING IT!!!!
:D

Judge Dredd "Dark and Visceral"? I'm not sure they really get it. Instead of being a vehicle for the cliches of the moment, why don't they go back to the early spirit of it as a portrayal of excess. Like the League Of Fatties and Otto Sump's Ugly Clinic. It was all designed to be OTT at the time but just possible, not "gothic".
