The pictures are apparently fake, and he is Mad Hatter as stop motion apparently, not 'reality' like in the pictures. Saw it a few days ago and people have said it's fake.

I think it probably is fake because I thought there were going to be using performance-capture-technology?
Can't be stop motion because Burton mentioned the other day about Johnny literally eating his hat in a scene.

I'm a bit confused about this whole thing. Live action/stop motion/CGI/3D - I wish they'd clarify one way or another.

It looks realistic though, so if it is a fake, the faker has done a good job.
