I'm in a community college in new york and I plan on transferring to a college in new jersey to continue for my bachelors degree after I get my accosiates degree over here. I want to know information on financial aid for colleges in new jersey. Like do I have to be a resident of the state for a while before I'm eligable? How long do I have to be a resident? Are there different types of financial aid? Like for example, here in NY I get both fafsa and tap..is it like that in nj? Etc..thank you very much
