New James Bond confirmed?

It could be that Clive Owen will be the next Bond. Although it's yet to be made official, it seems he made no effort to deny the rumour when asked.

No offence to him, but I don't think he would make a good Bond. He just hasn't got the looks of Connery and Brosnen.

I was annoyed when he got Batman, as he is perfect for Bond, and can actually act (as can Owen obviosuly, but there is some real stale crap being linked with Bond).

He only took the Batman role, 'cause it sounRAB like Bateman.

I think Owen is entirely wrong for Bond - He simply doesn't look or sound right. For my money, Dougray Scott would have been an excellent choice. He's young enough to carry the series for a good few years and make the character his own. Owen has got maybe five years before he looks too old.

I really think the franchise is in serious trouble - The fact that they are making Casino Royale reeks of artistic bankrupty. Either get Brosnan back or cast someone decent and make an original film.

Not sure if this has been mooted before, but i reckon Alexis Denisov (Wesley from Angel) would be great as Bond.
