New iphone or Blackberry?

So heres the thing my birthday is in July and my mum asked if i wanted an iphone! But im not sure, do u think blackberry's are better? Also is there goin to be a new iphone released. Last June they released the 3Gs so do u think it's likely they'll release another one this summer? Thanks
