Anyone know when incubus is coming out with their new album? I am pretty sure it's sometime soon but don't know a exact date, (if there is one)

I hope theres not alot of songs with that women singer that was in some of those special release songs

I think her voice is terrible

If there album is even close to anything like their previous album it will suck so badly. If somehow they go back to having an album like science then i'll buy it.

To tell you the truth, I thought all albums before make yourself sucked. My favorite of their albums is Morning View although kid yeah ACLOTM was good too.

What a lemming, I thought it was good. Everyone bashed it just because they thought it was another "political statement album" (which it was) but it shouldn't have degrade the album at all though.

Morning View is definetly one of my favorite albums of all time. fungus is fun to listen to also..

If you're a true incubus fan I really don't think it matters what album you get, for the most part you shouldn't be disapointed.

But yes, I too would like to know the release date.

i can't possibly understand how you can even listen to megalomaniac and find it a good song or a catch one. the whole i hate our fucking government act is getting fucking old. the only band who could continue to due that and did it in an amazing was rage against the machine. oh and you are correct in the fact that every album has gotten progressively worse but all of them i thought still rocked up until morning view which was at best a mix of new age pussy rock with some of their classic stuff.

I don't know when their album is set to come out, but I'm gonna get it regardless.

In my opinion Make Yourself is their best album (because I can relate to it more), but I like the majority of the songs off of every album.

Ok, for the record....

Yeah, most people have criticized Incubus for writing a "political" album. And yes, it's hard to stomach Boyd's "welcome to 1984" rants in "Talk Shows on Mute", a statement that is largely cliche these days.

My biggest problem with that album (mind you, I've been an Incubus fan since the late 90's) is that it's largely a free-form jam mess. Whereas their metal-jam band mentality was unique on S.C.I.E.N.C.E, it's more or less annoying on this album. Don't get me wrong; there are some good tracks on it. "Megalomaniac" is very catchy, as is the fantastic title track, "Sick Sad Little World" and the piano-laden "Here In My Room." But largely, the album goes nowhere fast (haha, nice pun for me).

I loved Morning View; I thought that was an amazing album. And despite the last one, I can't wait for what they deliver next. Their songs that were contributed to the Stealth soundtrack show the band back to their previous form.
