I just bought a new laptop and to my dismay, whenever I plug my earphones in the computer won't play sound through them. The sound coming from the computer is dulled but still, I want all the sound to go to my earphones. I've tried things I've found online and even though it might work for a second, the fix is never permanent. Of course Microsoft can't just come out and say they screwed up so I can't find their fix for my problem. Please tell me how to fix this because apparently a lot of people have the same problem. I thank you in advance for the help. Oh, and the earphones are new and work fine with my Ipod.
