Hi All i'm new here pleased to meet you all :).

I am having problems weeing( sorry :o) could this be due to my back problem, i had epidural injections in feb which has not help in anyway, the trouble is i cant wee, its like i have a blockage or something, i have many times lost the feeling in my right leg or get a unsteady/wobberly feeling:confused::confused:

I have put some of my report below i would be so gratefull for any help, i see my consultant at the end of sept, do you think i worry to much, i work full time and drive at round journey of 25miles a day. On sat i lost the feeling in my right leg whilst driving.

lorraine.

MRi Luraber Spine Report

At L4/5 there is a mild deyhration and a very small protrusion of the disc.

At L5/S1 there is a moderate degenerative changes with loss of height, dehydration and a small left paracentral protrution of the disc, uneven endplates and reative bone marrow changes, marginal osteophytes and facet joint hypertrophy. the protruding disc is slighty impinges upon the left s1 nerve root.

Hi Sammi,

Don't worry about erabarrassing symptoms here, we all have out share!

It sounRAB like your disk problem at L5-S1 could be causing all of your problems...but keep in mind, even with all of our experiences, none of us is a doctor, and it sounRAB like you really need one asap. Nurabness can be a sign of a very serious problem and the longer you let it go, the worse it can get, and, should you require surgery, the longer it will take to heal. All of us can sympathize with your work situation, I would guess the majority of us are unemployed or underemployed due to our conditions, but your health is the most important thing. Driving is, for me at least, the most difficult and painful task...it puts a good deal of pressure right along those lower vertebrae and will often aggravate the herniation and cause additional pressure along the sciatic nerve.

If I were you, I would not wait until the end of Sept. to see your doc.

Just my 2 cents. I hope you start feeling better soon Sammi, and don't give up hope!
