New Harry Potter 3 trailer

Well yes the movie that grossed the most despite the kiRAB in the movie unable to act properly:rolleyes: , yes i admit as a Harry Potter fan that those kiRAB cannot act.

But now since the producers have hired that acclaimed Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron who made 'Y tu Mama Tambien' last year which aperantly got an Oscar nomination!

The new film is apperantly more darker and gornw up then the last films. And the filming style is more cinematic and natural then Chris Columbus style. So hopefully this might be the best Potter movie yet and i'm quite excited by it as well.

Well the trailer looks pretty impressive and the dementors look quite scary so next summer might be again another busy year for me. :D

Here's the trailer (you would need Windows media 9 to view)=

You don't make it clear whether you mean all of the kiRAB in the films or just the three main ones. I would agree with you as regarRAB some of the supporting roles (particularly the Weasley twins) but not of Daniel Radcliffe or Emma Watson (I think Rupert Grint hasn't got the comedy element for Ron quite right yet, but it's coming). I write from experience, having directed children in school plays and theatre groups for many years. Bear in mind that Radcliffe is in almost every scene in both films. He has to carry them without being propped up by Robbie Coltrane and Richard Harris. That is no mean achievement. Had his performances been anything like as inept as some of his detractors have suggested, both films would have fallen apart. Watson is the youngest of the three but manages to convey a sense of maturity beyond her years. As for Rupert Grint, in some ways he has the most difficult job (the clown) and he has to demonstrate that there is more to Ron than an ability to get spells wrong and pull faces. I look forward to seeing how he copes with the slanging matches with Hermione in 'Prisoner'.

Oh yes sorry for not making it clear:o

Yes i do mean the supporting cast, but however i do blame most of the bad acting in the first two movies to the former director Chris!

The reason why i state this is because he was so wraped up in making the movies as family friendly and close to the book as possible that he almost forgot about the quality!......Well you cant expect much from someone who directed Home Alone:rolleyes:

Anyways this new director seems to have got it right by the look of it.

We'll have to wait and see

Prisoner of Azkaban was and still is the best book in the Harry Potter book to date, even with the fifth one it still beats it down. So the movie itself should benefit from that due to the thick plot line and the humour not to mention the dementors which you do see in the trailer........well a little bit of them at leats! Scary things.

Good to know that the whole cast is still being kept British as all movies based on an British novel should be! Lets hope new line entertainment keeps the His dark materials trilogy British or at leats contian some form of a British cast. I find it so off putting when an American actor puts on a English accent.......Nearly all the time the accent is either too posh or over-the-top cockney:rolleyes:

Anyways for those who do not have media player 9 you can view the trailer in Quick time and Real Player here=

Apperantly according to this article in Empire magazine Alfonso Cuaron has made considerable chamnges to the atmostphre of the thrid film.

Apart from it being as stated before, darker then the first two. Its also alot more grown up and scarier then the last films.

And this is interesting from the daily telegraph=

And i state again the thrid book is the best book in the series and i'll eat my knickers if this film doesnt mirror that to an extent! Honestly i will:eek: . I mean even mister Steven Spielberg seems to agree with me=

i really didnt like the first 2 films-really americanised and very "chris columbus"
i'm disappointed the HP films didnt get a decent director from the beginning and i always hoped for a gilliam/burton feel so i hope the next one is good :)

Sorry was that a snub there I was asking on behalf of Mrs Waster, I personally dont have enough intrest in Harry Potter to be bothered with the trailer although I will agree azkabahn is a favourite of mine, just out of curiosity did they show Buckbeak? It will be intresting to see what they make him look like

Thanks for that lala, much better in quicktime, I think I may have to buy the books this christmas and give them a good read as so far the films have exceeded my expectations!!

And one last thing, I think its great that J K Rowling has got the young people of this country reading again, IMO she deserves a knighthood or whatever they class it for a women, sexist I know, nevertheless she deserves it!! ;)

Well it isnt only the trailer and movie that looks slightly improved! Also the posters have improved as well!.....=

Well this is the new preview poster and i quite like it.......quirky is the word i would to describe it! Much better then those awful Hollywood style posters Harry Potter had before.....you remember that big black poster with all the painted faces on there etc.........argh yuck......this new ones good though:)
