Just arrived today kurukyan iso grips. I have never changed grips before and not sure what problems I may encounter. Any advice in advance?

Thanks Dudes!!

just be patient when removing and reinstalling the throttle cables, and slide the new grips on without the glue so you can check the position you want them in. you should also try slow drying glue, so you have a few seconds to adjust them once they are on.

Thanks all. I did not see the instructions as they were stuffed well inside one of the grips. I was a little concerned by the warning about the glue that it would be a one shot deal.

Ok, here is the scoop for grip replacement on the C90.

Right bar grip:

1)Remove end cap weight.

2)Remove two long inner switch housing screws (bottom of switch) and only loosen the short center outer screw. If you remove the short screw it is a real pain in the butt to get everything back into place, this is experience speaking SO LISTEN DAMNIT!! HeHe!!

3)Remove the top switch cover housing and remove the two small screws and clamp securing on/off switch. Otherwise it flops around and is a pain to work with.

4)Loosen the "slack" adjuster on the cable housing toward the front of the
bike.

5)With a small "hook" tool grab the rear cable, pull it up enough to clear the ferrule retainer and push the ferrule out. Twist the grip forward (toward the front of the bike) and remove the second ferrule and cable.

6)Slide the new throttle grip on, set the bottom half of the switch housing in place, twist the grip toward the front of the bike and install the front ferrule and cable.

7)Twist the grip back, push in the ferrule and using the hook tool pull the cable up and over the cable retainer. (this is kinda a pain in the butt!!)

8)Install the on/off switch with clamp back into the top cover.

9)Secure the top and bottom covers (the shorter of the two long screws goes toward the back of the housing).

10)Reset the cable slack

11)Enjoy the right grip

Left bar grip:

1)Cut the sucker off!!

2)Clean glue residue from bar

3) Test fit the grip and match the position the same as throttle grip

4)Pull grip off, apply the glue and push the new grip on fast and furious

5)Enjoy left grip

I used Renthal grip glue for mine, as Murphy''s Law comes into play when using the "instant" stuff. It will often set before you can get it all the way on and aligned properly.
