The issue is that a 10-degree turn on a 848 throttle produces a lot more power than a 10-degree on a 250cc bike.

I would definetly have to agree with you on that. Although i briefly rode a 748, from what i remember its was not like any other bike i sat on.

And although, people would complain about how hot the seat was or how bad their wrist hurt, i still thought it was a groovy ass bike.

Hopefully when i purchase mine it will etch a permanent grin on my face as well

I was a younger, all i cared about was wanting a motorcycle THATS IT.

I didn't read too much into the "numbers" or the displacment of a bike, it was all the same to me THEN.

But, im older, a little more refined now and it's all starting to come together, you know.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do think you need a Japanese bike or a car to be comfortable.

What I was alluding to in my previous post was that I didn't buy the bike for comfort.
