New driver's license photo?

I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have my learners license and I'm going to get my full license. Do I get a new picture taken, or is it the same one as on my beginner's license? If they use the same one, can I ask for a new picture?
I would like to have a new one since I look a little different and everything =)
