Hello all, i just spoke with bell, to find out what it will cost me to get Bell Satelite HD.
I don't feel they really tried much to get me as a customer.
Basically she offered me the following:

HD Satelite 4 packages english thats it with the standard channels!
1 9242
1 6142
All for $75 a month. Plus taxes!

What do you guys think, i have read on the forum of other members( new bell members) getting a much better deal than this.

Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds like a decent deal to me. I believe that a 9242 is $25/month to rent, and a 6141 is $10/month to rent. I don't know how good of a deal you were expecting, but you will have to pay something to get HD service. Out of curiousity, what were the better deals customers are getting?

HD receiver rental for a year free.
Or 2-3months free service or reduced prices, Obviously this could all be false. Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks. Thanks

Not true , you get some HD channels free , they are included even with basic package. It costs $20.00 to rent 9242 receiver.

They offer the current promotion, they can not make a discount on the current new client promo...

Digital standard 32$
+ 4 HD theme packs 10$ (according to pamphlet I received, when I left Express Vu the HD was one itwem and it was 10$ for all HD)
+ Rental 6141 10$
+ Rental 9242 10$

I calculate 62$...the agent might have added Sports 1 SD at 8$ in her calculation, that is required for you to get TSN HD.

I Calculate

$20 - 9242 Rental
$10 - 6141 Rental
$32 - Digital Standard
$03 - Digital Service Fee
$10 - 4 HD Theme Pack
----

$75 Total (Just as the OP mentioned)

"Yup"

As i taught, i dont seem to be getting that much of a deal, seems to be the normal prices!!! Am i wrong.
Or is this a promotion for the whole package.
And to refer to EX Agent EV, no i didnt ask for TSN HD. !!!!

Just realised I typed (and calculate) 10$ for the rental of the 9242...it is in fact 20$ as mentionned by the others. I also forgot the 3$ digital acces fee
