yes it would be and the only thing that i have seen might be a remake of the Samsung R410 that MetroPCS has, maybe with AWS and that be it, but yeah i think we would see a 3.2MP phone thats like PDAish 1st on a company like VZW or Sprint 1st maybe

i don't think the plan currently includes evdo for ALL markets... my understanding is there are a few markets that are capacity strapped already and cricket does not currently intend to launch evdo in a few markets for that reason.
that said evdo should be up in most markets by the end of the year, which is also when the premium devices tend to be released.

When did nokia stop making cdma phones cricket has the 6265i and some others they may have been discontinued but they did exist.

I don't know when they stopped (for a while, they sold Nokia-branded CDMA hanRABets that weren't really Nokias), but recently, Nokia started making CDMA phones again. They announced the aforementioned 1606 and 3606 at CTIA, and at least the 1606 seems ripe for metroPCS and Cricket. I wouldn't mind a 1606 at all - I dig the dedicated flashlight key in the Nokia logo.
