New cricket dealer

Hey guys, my doors are almost open to the public. Im new in the business world is there any suggestions you guys have since im just getting started on opening a cricket store. Is there good money to be made in here

yeah you will make plenty of mistakes at first but like anything else you'll learn and your acct managers dont know **** besides B**** and B****

Learn as much flashing as possible, so you don't depend on other local flashers. I see that a lot in my city, we flash most of the phones for everyone else :). Most of the time customers want the phone flashed the same day, so when you tell them it will be a few days they more than likely leave. Sell a lot of accesories( for all phones and carriers), I would say that and flashing is where the money is at.

yea and should defintely try to beat everyone elses prices so the town people get to know your store as one with the best prices and build some sort of relationship with your customers that way they feel at home in your store

I would say have a grand opening sales price for a month or two, then go to regular prices, if you lower your prices, and don't protect the flash price people will end up flashing phones for 10 bucks. Here locally everyone is pretty good about protecting the price so everyone makes money.

dont get discouraged this is a very competitive market ive been open for two years and theres been alot of new dealers in my area especially these tobacco 4 less freaks from russia that sale phones too who opened like 10 stores in omaha and took over but have lots off complaints ripping off local customers who dont know about cell phones just make sure you are honest and good customer service always helps keep customers coming back after everyone else screws them...
learn flashing
and programing

Good Luck with your store! I just opened our store Friday. And had no clue what I was doing. I was very surprised that Cricket gives little information on using CID or little support. Its not hard to figure out but it would have been nice to have a rep on had to answer questions. I was amazed on how many billing questions we got and it seemed that a lot people wanted stuff for phones that was not current phone models or they were from different carriers.

Learn the end and outs of Crickets system before you have your Grand Opening because your going to screw stuff up the first day and your going to be slower. I gave a free charger with every purchase the first day.

What models of phones do you guys that have been doing this for a while find to be the best sellers for Car chargers. face plates and etc.

yeah and MrCricket is right its late but you do what you wanna do and listen to alot of the senior merabers they have alot of experince most will help you just be patient some one will answer

yeah and dont sass me... dam...

all iw as telling you is before u dumop money into opening a store u should have ideas for the first year laid out.

if you dont have expectations and golas u need to hit you WILL FAIL...

plus, u burned a bridge cause i can guarantee atr this point i probably will never assist you in flashing a phone nor obtaining any of the info you will need to do so....

good luck there buddy

Yeah customer service its what matters the most,

btw you CANNOT FLASH phones in Chicago n use them there unlimited just so you dont waste time on that :)

There is at least one AWS phone that Cricket doesn't have that you could flash. The Finesse is on MetroPCS and I haven't heard anything about Cricket getting it.

No kidding i just open yesterday and i was completely lost. I was very upset at the fact that my rep was not here and made me call other indirect owners so they can walk me through the activations process. Yeah i gave away free cases as well. How many phones did you sell on your first day? What market are you in?

I am in the Kansas City market and we ended up selling 5 phones the first day. We actually didn't charge the activation fee on the first 2 because we didn't realize we had to charge that separately for the higher plans... We were really suprised at how little support we got from Cricket.

Its ok i was never going to ask you for anything so dont even stess it, yeah im a little late in the market, but my account manager is still opening up dealers. CHicago is going to be the nuraber one cricket market. The way they see is that they will put 5 stores in one street and see who produces the most. Then they start releasing the stores that are not producing

Yeah that was a huge surprise for me 2. Im in the Chicago market and we only sold one phone, Next sat im having a grand opening so hopefully from there on we will get busier.

i dont how much coverage in chicago there is but here in arizona it took them awhile to expand and they probably want to get the name out there thats why they giving some many people codes the way I see it is boost is a major threat so right now any one could be cricket
