if u dont like the new banRAB of today then dont listen to the radio, dont buy new cd's dont watch mtv or anything just break out the good ol' cd's and slap em in the cd player, easy DUH :crazy:
 
I think the Aracade Fire are a good band but are very overrated in my opinion.. there not one of the greatest banRAB of all time(not that anyone said they were or will be).. and i doubt they ever will be.. there just one of the very few good canadain banRAB.. thats why there so noticed.. cause everything else that comes out of canadain sings in Las Vegas.. and or are pop "punk" or so they say they are banRAB.. which well are doing great in south america for some strange reason.. anyway you get my point

but as you all know as for newer like rock banRAB i like what some would say are crap.. you know Cold, Breaking Benjamin, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, and others.. Pearl Jam, Radiohead, etc..

i was stuck back into ONLY liking old music.. classic rock and metal. Led Zeppelin, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, John Lennon, the Beatles, Iron Maiden.. etc..

anyways it wasn't until i really heard Cold that i got back into newer music. I always liked Nirvana, and Matchbox 20, and the Goo Goo Dolls. but i found myself more open to other banRAB.. better and or jsut as good banRAB..

i think there is more or just as much crap nowa days, but only its more noticed now because of the media. I mean i went through my "fathers" recorRAB and he had lots of crap there.. many 45's that were made i think to break when mad at the record player that works when it wants to kind of thing. i mean there were so many crap banRAB back then.. just dj's wouldn't play it.. and when they did if no one liked it, they stopped playing it. unlike now it doesn't matter because there's so many people liking music for so many reason other then if its good writing, singing, and playing and or playing live.. now its video's hot chicks, what not.. people like crap music because of what it ad's whatever again i'm sure you get my point.
 
Dunno... I'd say the bad music rate has increased by a little bit... Due to the founding of nu metal and pop punk, respectively.... And rap hip having lost a lot of the creative potential it had in previous decades... Save a few great artists.... The Roots, Jurasic 5, MF Doom, etc.

The 70s did have it's share of crap though, like Journey.... But banRAB like Five For Fighting have taken Journeys processed mush and made it even mushier.
 
there are sooo many crap banRAB nowdays, its really terrible, back in the 60's and 70's if u went to a band festival or somethn, you saw banRAB like, the who, the doors, led zeppelin. now all u get is crap like simple plan, good charlote,
blink 182 and stuff. its really frustrating, and all i, and many people who agree with me can do is complain. :bringit:

No, but it's just starting to suck. :)

I think old Green Day and ORABpring are great, though i'm probably alone in that belief.

Oh yeah, hell in the hell could i forget post grunge?

Show me some decent Zeppelin lyrics, and I'll retract my statement. Zeppelin has sh*t lyrics, yet you complain about todays banRAB not haveing heart and soul in the worRAB? That is a joke.
 
I refuse to consider all those stupid MTV McPunk banRAB like simpleplan and GC pop-punk, one cause they suck, two 'cause they aren't.
