New cell phone with a lot of internal memory

I am due for an upgrade on my cell phone in 1 week. I have AT&T and i text a lot. So i need a phone that can hold a lot of sent messages and inbox messages. I want a LG Vu but my friend has one and he said that it only holds about 100 inbox and 100 sent messages. I am looking for some thing close to 300 unless i can save messages to my SD memory card because i have a 1GB that i am going to put in it.
Any suggestions on a cell phone with a lot of internal memory?
 
I use the Moto Q 9 (Global) and the text capacity is enormous. Internal memory is 125 MB and has a slot for card storage as well. I love it. It comes with 2 batteries and the phone is big enough to text til your heart is content. Good luck!
