For my first car i was thinking of getting the 2009 Mitsubishi eclipse...What is the difference between the gs and gt...which one goes faster overall and which one gets better gas mileage? Please help !

The GT Model is the fastest but obviously it is more expensive but well worth the money. The V6 is kinda low of HP compared to a V6 is a Infiniti. But the body style for the car looks great and can be easily modified. If you want to spend little money by all means get the 4 cylinder models but I would not recommend because the 4 cylinder in the Eclipse is a little underpowered for what the car advertised to be. Your Choice.
