Hello!
I'm in the middle of starting a home health care company that provides non-medical services, for now. I have noticed some of my competitors accept blue cross blue shield insurance and provide nursing to patients. I want to start offering skilled nursing to my patients now. I would like to accept Medicare and blue cross blue shield insurances, so I can continue to provide home health services to my community, through my business and also help with the unemployment rate of metro Detroit.
How do I go about doing this? BTW I do realize that most insurances do not pay for home aides, but I am more worried about being able to hire unemployed nurses and provide nursing care to my patients , the private duty side of the business is doing fine.
