New Billet/Titanium Products?

Hi Nick - Thanks for inviting our suggestions. I am focussed on lightening (as opposed to 'bling'). I tried to source a lighter alternative to the die-cast block which the mufflers mount to when I was fitting the alloy subframe. It is quite heavy for its size - about 150g - presumably for having zinc in the casting?
I thought a CF replacement should be strong enough, as muffler threads are separate insert. All odd angles - probably not much saving in CNC billet. Not much in it for the bling people as part is barely visible!
I lightened mine with a porting tool, but would happily buy a lightweight replacement in carbon or similar. Thanks - Pat

so to get this right it is 1/3 of a lb and you want a lighter one? Just making sure my conversions are right before I go yank it off one of the bikes here

Here is the issue with a kickstand, to make a lighter one sounds great, but the make your bike lighter market is racers, and racers take off there kickstand...

2nd for kickstand....and make it adjustable for if people raise or lower their bikes. I think when DK did the RC51 work; he made one or sold some rediculous billet Sato kickstand for $150+. I mean come one its a kick stand for god sakes not much design needed in that.

Are there really that many people that will change the actual height of a Ducati to the point you'll need a new kickstand? Seems more like a Busa thing again.

I don't think the kickstand needs to be lighter but a nicer design could be good for the bling crowd, maybe webbed or with some kind of pattern to it? Not that I see a lot of sales even so.
