new bike time, input needed.?

I am currently in the market for a new bike. being a long time rider and not a pilot, I have decided to finally update to a newer bike. Having ridden several different styles of bikes through the years. From a 79 kz 750 twin, cb 750 super sport and 90 cbr 600 f1. I have been trying to figure out what bike to buy. I have looked at various different bikes from A to Z. The aprilia RSV 4, Agusta F4 RR312 1078 ( really like this one) CBR 1000 RR. you name it i have looked at it. Question is not having ridden any of them yet. Which one is comfortable and yet boast plenty of power and speed when needed. Comfort, speed and looks are things that I am considering.
Whats your input.
 
None of the sport bikes are going to give you too much comfort but as far as looks and speed, I have always loved the yamaha R6 and R1. I personally think they are the kewlest looking bikes out there. Although you mentioned the Aprilia, I like those alot too. It basically just boils down to what you like the best. I currently have a modified 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and I love it more than I thought I could. Very sharp bike. Good luck bike shopping.
