NEW big budget scary DRACULA would go down well these days?

cant belive theres no talk of this yet.

a brand new big budgeted dracula movie
a dark totally freaky new look for himbut still giving him that old feel that we know and love maybe have it in modern days

i know the story is real old but maybe change a good few things add stuff.

I thought the Copolla version pretty much nailed it really, can't see much need for another. There is already enough of this vampire stuff going 'round for my liking, seems it's the latest 'in' thing with teenagers too, what with this crap Twilight stuff. IMHO of course! Sexy vampires, what?
 
Bram Stoker's Dracula directed by Coppola was a great effort.

But, my own favourite version is The Horror Of Dracula made in 1958 starring Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Christopher Lee as Dracula.

Copolla's version is brilliant apart from one thing - Keanu Reeve's! What were they thinking getting him to play Jonathan? However, I don't think another remake is needed of this. Gary oldman nailed it. It's also a very visually beautiful film.
 
Wish is was better as a whole, didnt even mind Keanu Reeves that much!

If only it was good as a whole film as parts of that Dracula film when it got to the good parts were fantastic bits of cinema
