I admit, I've never had a betta fish myself before. I decided to get one, bought and set up the tank and today I brought home a beautiful crowntail betta.
He's been in his new tank for an hour now, and he's done nothing but swim around the top and attack bubbles on the tank walls. I can't get his attention with food or even a mirror.
He seems healthy and pretty happy; his fins are spread out and he is swimming quickly around the top of the cage.
But why isn't he going closer to the bottom? And why... eating bubbles? xD
