New Bars W/Pics

Hey All,

I put these on a week or so ago. I still need a clip for the throttle cables but I think they look pretty good.

The seller called them 11 1/2" mini apes made by Santee but their just as high as my friends 13" (that's kind of weird) but I guess the size varies manufacture to manufacture.

They are 1 1/2" bars with considerable pull back. Very comfortable.

I went with black pearl cables and wires, they look better in person.

I pulled all the wires through one by one, staggered them, crimped, soldered, and heat shrank each one. Then covered the hole thing in heat shrink before pulling it through.

The BLACK OUT is in progress but it's getting there.

I was pretty reluctant about the mini apes myself but I have to say I'm sold now.

And with the pull back you'd be surprised how comfortable as well as controllable they are.

I'm only 5'8" and my reach isn't anything special.

I find people either love it or hate it. I dig it because its different.

I'm planning on blacking out the wheels and all the lights, trim, etc... this winter.

Yea ifts funny how those people measure bars. HCC called mine 14", but they measure
16". I can see being off an 1/2" , maybe but not 2's".

Way to much rise for me. I would like about 4" rise and 2" pull-back.
