New Bakugan episodes

They address the two of them right off the bit. Dan chooses to break up with Runo to go help Drago while Runo decides to stay in the real world where she now appears to be in charge of the money at her family's restaurant.

Not really a break up, more like ditching. Drago told Dan to leave everyone behind, so not to put them in danger. Dan sneaks to Vestoria, Maruchio is able to see though Dan's attempt to ditch and follows him.

Actually Yu-Gi-Oh! GX wasn't in that situation. The GX manga was created while season 1 was airing.

CN didn't ask them to make more episodes, but it wouldn't be the first time an American company has. Duel Masters 1.5 was an American only season. The last season of Ultimate Muscle was created because 4KiRAB asked for more episodes and agreed to help fund it. DICE, Transformers Armada, Transformers Energon, Transformers Cybertron, and SD Gundam were anime series created by American companies (BANDAI Entertainment instead of Sunrise and Hasbro) instead of their Japanese counterparts. Sonic X season 3 was created because of the foreign ratings, much like Bakugan is (though it's based more off the to profits instead of ratings this time), but it too was done by the original companies, just as Bakugan is. As far as the beginning goes, the song for the dubbed version is the same, and the ending is basically the same with updated credits.

Actually no, a second series wasn't being made, though they did have possible plans. It was announced only 6 months ago. CN had a huge role to do in it. Bakugan has borabed ratings wise, but the toys have sold like crazy, and since CN gets profit from the toys, they wanted more episodes so they could continue to gain profit that way. As a result the worldwide premiere of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia isn't in Japan. Instead it is on Teletoon in Canada, since Nelvana is once again dubbing it and Corus owns both Nelvana and Teletoon.

It is a sad commentary on american taste, when a show like Bakugan stays on the air while shows like Naruto and Blue Dragon are off the air.

Eh.

Me personally, would rather watch a harmless, fun show like Bakugan over a boring, overblown show like Naruto any day.

Also, Blue Dragon isn't that good, by any standard.

Amen. I just wish they explained the rules of Bakugan better (or... at all) since I'm still not sure what gate carRAB or.. well, anything really does. I've only seen the first.. like.. 13 episodes though.

Exactly how is a rating that is usually under a 1.5 respectable when it has shows on Disney XD and Nicktoons Network which have a smaller viewership base beating it out on a consistent basis? Remeraber CN gets 100% profit from the DVD's and something like 60 or 70% profit from all other merchandise. That is the difference between this and Naruto. In the case of Naruto, they may have made something like 2 or 3% profit for helping advertise Naruto, but even most of that was from manga and DVD sales, and Viz Media got the majority of it.

That's kinda sad.

It would've been the first kiddie shounen series to have a relationship, and that would've made it different, but I guess since they weren't expecting a second season, they had no choice.

(sigh)

I can sympathize with you. One of my biggest pet peeves is when shows/movies pair people up in the finale, because it's quite clear almost all of them do that because the writers don't know how to write for a couple, so this way they can hook people up, but not have to actually write about it. Shame they won't keep it around.

There still together, but having that relationship play out in every episode or so would get old pretty fast. So by having Dan ditch Runo, Dan can save the world, and still have a girlfriend to go home to.

That is what I have been trying to say. They are not offical broken up. Though Runo was pretty mad about being ditch, she even said "Forget Dan" in anger, I doubt she meant it.

But I hope the girls show up later, imagine what trouble Dan would be in, if Runo saw him and Mira together.
