...SHOC engine? I did a ATF gasket, filter and fluid change over the weekend but discovered that only 3 -4 quarts of fluid was replaceable since most of it remains inside, since it looks like used motor oil (dirty), i want to redo it next weekend to give it more concentrated new fluid (Since in the first instance I only diluted the old ATF fluid with the new one.
Can I reuse the one week old new gasket and still manage a good seal? Or do I need to discard and put a new Automatic transmission gasket as the one week old will be flattened?

you can reuse the gasket as long as it doesn't get damaged.

if you remove the dust shield you will see that there is a drain plug on the torque converter.
turn the engine until the plug is at the"6 o'clock" position.
